Main thing to come out of this game was the concussion suffered by DeAndre Hopkins. Kubiak said after the game, that’s what happened although he really didn’t see the play. Hopkins came off the field and went to the locker room under his own power following the play and did not return.
Didn’t address that in the podcast, did address the position battles on OL and at the 3rd running back spot. LISTEN:
Podcast on the defense coming up shortly…Update – here it is. Interesting battle b/w Johnathan Joseph and Mike Wallace, clearly won by Wallace. Ryan Tannehill was pretty good, engineering two touchdown drives of more than 75 yards. The Texans allowed zero first downs on the other 3 drives facing Tannehill. Texans defense dominated backups Matt Moore & Aaron Corp. The duo was 5-15 for 38 yards from the late 2nd quarter through the end of the game. They were also sacked for a loss of 42 yards. (That’s -4 yards passing allowed to those two – pretty good.)
